Pool
The MAAC Pool Division is highly regarded within the eight-ball pool community as one of the best-run clubs in the state, known for both its exceptional organisation and friendly atmosphere.
Our Members participate in weekly competitions and gather for practice sessions every Monday evening from 6:00 PM in the Sea Wall Bar. We proudly field three competitive teams: the Piranhas, the Stingrays, and the Marlins.
We’re always excited to welcome new players. If you’re interested in joining us, please reach out to:

COMPETITIONS
The Pool Division teams actively participate in local competitions, including the Club Pool Association and the WA Italian Club. Matches are held on Wednesday nights, with one team playing at home while the other teams compete at various local sporting and social clubs. Each match consists of 25 frames, with teams of 5 or more players, each playing up to 5 frames.
At the end of the home-and-away season, the top teams battle it out for a spot in the Grand Final. In addition to team competitions, players can compete in singles and doubles championships.
Some of our more talented pool players also compete at higher levels, earning selection for State or Country representation in national and international tournaments.
MEMBER COMPETITIONS
Beyond external competitions, the Pool Division hosts annual junior, doubles, and singles tournaments for its Members.
AWARDS
Each competition offers awards for the winning teams, singles and doubles champions, and the player with the highest win percentage. Additionally, the Pool Division holds an awards night where members compete for titles like Most Improved Player and Club Person of the Year.
SOCIAL
The Pool Division has an active social calendar, organising outings, and weekends away in places like Jurien Bay or Lancelin, as well as holding several barbeques throughout the year.
