2025 BWC – A Big Day on the Water

Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions and persistent south-westerly winds, the spirit of competition was alive and well at this year’s Blue Water Classic. A total of 328 determined anglers launched early from Hillarys and Ocean Reef boat ramps, ready to test their skills against the elements and each other.

Those who braved the bumpy conditions were rewarded with some impressive catches, proving once again that determination pays off. Once the lines were reeled in and the competition closed, competitors made their way back to the MAAC for a well-earned drink and the chance to swap stories of the ones they caught and the ones that got away.

Congratulations to our winners – your efforts truly stood out in a tough field.
