After a two-year hiatus, The Great Northern Blue Water Open Fishing Classic saw 358 anglers from across Western Australia participate in the MAAC’s premier fishing competition.
Anglers set out in the early hours of Saturday morning from Hillarys and Ocean Reef Marinas with a near-perfect weather forecast to see who could catch the best of the 12 species required for the competition. With some amazing prizes up for grabs, the competition was fierce.
It was fantastic to see so many Members and their guests in attendance experiencing all the action of the event and supporting the anglers as they showcased their catches.
